General rules of play

Socks must always be worn by all climbers. If you fail to bring any, you may purchase a pair at the counter. Failure to comply might result in being asked to leave the ropeland area.

Food must not be consumed in any play areas. The designated areas my be used to consume food bought on the premises.

Children always need to be supervised by an accompanying adult.

Team led session

Team led session may be booked for your child. We take bookings over the phone or on the day of your visit subject to availability. Sessions are limited in space. Group sizes vary on the session topic and the ages of participant. For the duration of the session you are released from your supervision obligation.

The Bird Table

Our café is open to visitors as well as the general public. Only foods purchased on the premises may be consumed except for birthday cakes, which are allowed to be brought in when you have a full party booking.

Please alert staff to any allergies and intolerances you may have. We cannot be held responsible for any wrong assumptions you might make about our ingredients that might result in health issues. Always talk to a member of the kitchen team.

Party Bookings

We take party bookings over the phone, by email or in person when you visit our site. A deposit is payable at the time of booking to secure your party slot.

We can neither decrease the number of guests less than 24hr prior to the party nor can we issue refunds for guests that fail to arrive.

The Hive

To obtain a regular slot in the Hive to offer classes, please contact us via the details above. All instructors have to establish their own health and safety risk assessments and insurance coverage for their classes. Roots Activities Ltd. cannot be held responsible for injuries that occur during instructor led classes.

Bookings are taken on a first come – first served basis. Payment for classes are strictly handled by the instructor and Roots Activities Ltd. can not be held responsible for any cancellation of classes. Class participants may use the Bird Table, but do not gain access to the play space. A separate ticket has to be purchased should you wish to extend your stay to climbing.

Complaints

Roots activities Ltd. desire is for you to have the best experience with us. We strive for high levels of quality and service across our offerings. Should your visit however fall below expectations, then please bring it to the attention of a member of staff on the day of your visit. Retrospective complaints cannot be accepted.
